How I Can Help
Nesting Concierge
What happens after you get off the plane?
You’ve got your passports back with shiny new visas inside. Congrats! You’re almost there. There may be a few more things to cross off your to-list, and that’s where I come in.
car seats
Did you know that US car seats can’t be used long-term in the EU? You might decide not to fly with your child/ren’s car seat/s after all. But how do you safely transport your kids from the airport?
groceries
It’s late. Or early. Either way, you’ve just travelled across the world and the last thing you feel like doing is figuring out groceries. Wouldn’t it be nice to arrive to a well-stocked pantry?
furniture
Small appliances, fresh 100% cotton sheets, a nightlight for your child in their new bedroom—these are the things that make a house a home. What creature comforts do you want waiting for you?
I know what it’s like to relocate with kids…
Moving overseas—especially with kids—is stressful. I should know, I’ve done it multiple times. Most recently, I flew solo with my three children aged 10 and under from San Diego, CA to Málaga, along with eight suitcases and eight pieces of hand luggage! It wasn’t for the faint of heart…
I was lucky to have family already in Spain who could help me. I was met at the airport with a seven-passenger van that fitted all our luggage, two car seats, three kids, my brother and me. I arrived home to a fully-stocked kitchen—groceries, coffee maker, kettle, plus utensils, and pots and pans. Everything I needed to prepare meals was at my fingertips, without my having to go anywhere. After a long day of travel, I appreciated that. And it made me realise, Not everyone has family on the ground to help.

Meet Lauren
I’m British/Irish/American, but was raised mostly on the Costa del Sol. My parents emigrated to Estepona when I was 9 years old, so I know what it’s like to be a kid and move to a country where they don’t speak English as a first language.
I know firsthand what it’s like to move as a young child and as a busy mama. I know many of the hurdles faced when settling into a new life. I’d love to welcome you to your new home.
